Invitation of Exhibition

General Information:

2008 China International Conference on Electricity Distribution (CICED 2008) will be held in Baiyun International Convention Centre, Guangzhou on December 10-13, 2008. The CICED 2008 is organized by the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering (CSEE) and CIRED, and is co-organized by and The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). And it is hosted by Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau of Guangdong Power Grid Corporation, and is in collaboration with Yingda Media Investment Group Co., Ltd. This session of CICED will discuss how to push forward sustainable innovation of power technology, will study the developing trends of contemporary urban grids as well as the research and application of new equipments in order to provide urban and rural residents with better power supply service. On that occasion, more than 600 senior managers, technical experts in the power transmission and distribution industry from all over the world will attend this grand conference as delegates.
Shunya International Communications Group was commissioned as the event planning organization with Guangzhou Power Supply Engineering General Corporation assisted in event financial account management.
Meanwhile, an exhibition on power supply technology and equipments with a floor space of 4100 square meters will also be held. Many well-known manufacturers from China and other countries will attend the exhibition to display the newest technologies and equipments in power supply industry. At that time, State Power Grid Corporation of China and China Southern Power Grid Corporation will send a senior delegation to attend the exhibit and will visit it together with other visiting guests from all over the world. We are looking forward to welcoming all the exhibitors from home and abroad and will do our utmost to serve you.

Exhibition Schedule:

Booth Reservation
Exhibitors should submit the booking form and booth reservation table as soon as possible, and also pay deposit for booking the booth. The Organizing Committee will confirm the chosen booth upon receiving the deposit of booking the booth. The Organizing Committee will arrange the booths according to the time order of receiving the booth reservation table submitted by exhibitors, considering the exhibitors’ own choice as possible. Under some special circumstances that the offered booth can not meet the exhibitor’s requirements, negotiation shall be made between the two parties. The Organizing Committee reserves the right of final allocation of the space and booth on the exhibition.

The due date for application is Sep. 30, 2008. If all the sponsor programs have been booked up before the due date, the Organizing Committee will not accept any other application.

Regulations on Exhibition
★  Payment

1. Payment must accompany the booking form, and participation at the exhibition will only be confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit. A contract will be signed and sent to the exhibitor together with the receipt of the deposit.
2. Exhibitors shall pay off the balance of payment before Sep. 30, 2008.
3. Shall exhibitors please remit the money to the account appointed by the Organizing Committee. All the remittance fees shall be paid by exhibitors. Any promissory notes and cheques from abroad shall not be accepted.
4. Exhibitors shall pay all the fees in RMB. When the total amount of exhibition participation fees have been credited into the appointed account, the Organizing Committee will issue a formal commercial invoice and send it to the exhibitor by express delivery.

Purpose of remittance: Participation fees for the CICED 2008 exhibition

★  Penalty
If exhibitors want to cancel the booking, the Organizing Committee shall charge some penalty, as follows:

1. If cancellations are made before September 30th, 2008, the deposit paid by exhibitors will be charged as penalty.
2. Cancellations made from October 1st, 2008 to November 7th, 2008, 50% of the total exhibition fees will be charged as penalty.
3. Any cancellations made after November 8th, 2008, 100% of the total exhibition fees will be charged as penalty.
4. The fees of booth facilities and renting equipments shall not be included in penalty.
