Call for Papers

The third China International Conference on Electricity Distribution (CICED) will be held from 10 to 13 December, 2008 in Guangzhou.  CICED2008 is organized by Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering (CSEE), International Conference on Electricity Distribution (CIRED) and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). The co-organizer is Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau of Guangdong Power Grid Corporation.

 

The Organization Information 

CICED is an international conference on electricity distribution and utilization held in China regularly with the support of CIRED. It serves operators, planners, managers of electricity distribution network in urban and rural areaand also serves academics, manufacturing engineers. To promote the technical exchange and collaboration, to improve electricity distribution technology is the mission of CICED.

The conference sets up a steering committee, technical committee and organizing committee. CICED2008 will last four days, including 3 days keynote speech, paper presentation and discussion, round table discussion and new technology formula, and 1 day technical visit.  New distribution technology and apparatuses exhibition will also be held during the event.  The official language of the conference is English (with simultaneous oral interpretation).  For more information please visit the conference website http://www.ciced2008.org.cn/

How to Submit Papers 

The electricity distribution operators, planers, academics and manufacturing engineers are cordially welcomed to present papers in CICED2008 to introduce your new ideas, research results and work experiences.

1.      Summary

The summary should be submitted before May 10, 2008. Before submitting, please prepare your summary in accordance with the example we offered on conference website. Summary must be submitted in English. It should be no less than 500 words, including title, subject, major opinion, data and conclusion, etc., please note the way you prefer to publish your paper (oral or poster).

Formal A4 paper is required, and the summary should be within one piece of paper including figures and tables. Author’s name, company, telephone number, fax number, email and mail address shall be indicated clearly.  The Chinese authors are required to submit a Chinese paper at the same time.  Character should be in Fangsong, title is in Heiti (No.4), and other words are in No.5.  

Authors must submit qualified English full papers after being informed the summaries are accepted.

A paper must correspond to one Preferential Subject. It must contribute to technical progress and not merely quote earlier publications.

The detail contact information including name, company, tel, fax, email and mail address of the main author and second author must be filled in the registration form while submitting the full papers on-line.

2.      Full paper

Once summary is accepted, please submit online your full paper both in English and Chinese before July 20, 2008.  Paper selection is mainly based on English format, and you are strongly suggested submit qualified English paper.
